Where can I begin? I decided to read both A Rangers Tale (Tallenmere 1) and Serenya’s Song (Tallenmere 2) for the High Summer Read A Thon. It was the best decision that I have decided to make recently. I loved both books so much and I am itching for book three already!!

Serenya’s Song begins with some history set in Sheffield where Serenya is born. The start of the book is set when Serenya is older and married to Sebastian. If you have read A Ranger’s Tale you will be familiar with Jayden, Lilly and other characters that are part of the story as it develops.

The story develops in such an amazing way. Characters, plot and the way the story was written all pulled me in and I read pages without even realising that I had read them.

The best thing about the story, as with A Ranger’s Tale is that there is an epilogue at the end which in both cases has almost made me cry. I have always said that a mark of a good book is if it can reduce me to tears. These did just that! The pull through the story kept me reading, wanting the happy ending for all involved and Mysti leaves me with a hunger for the third book.

I highly reccommedn this to EVERYONE! Regardless of the genre you normally read give Serenya’s Song a chance, give Tallenmere a chance, I can guarantee you will not be disappointed!
