“R2R: How did you come up with your characters?
I wanted unconventional and untraditional. I need a girl with a back bone, that wasn’t afraid to fight for what she wants, and I wanted a hero that everyone could fall in love with. Tristan is not the typical dominant alpha you see in a lot of books today, and I wanted to break away from that, really show the side that we rarely get to see in First Person P.O.V. novels.“

Tammy has also reviewed Finding Love’s Wings for this tour and has given it a full 5/5!!
Here is an excerpt:
“This book blew me away. True love is so difficult to find. Soul mates are even more rare. But that love will endure through thick and thin. The story of Cameron “Cami” and Tristan begins with betrayal and deceit and ends with a glorious love story.“

“R2R: Where did you come up with the idea for your new book?
I came up with the idea for The Society series after an incident that happened when I was living with my folks for a summer before going to college. I’ve written about this in my Blog on Goodreads and you can check it out there, but long story short, I saw what I can only explain as a ghost in my parent’s basement. I saw it, I looked away, I looked back and it was still there. I looked away again and this time when I looked back it was gone. That got me interested in the idea of the paranormal. A few years later I found TV shows like Ghost Hunters and Ghost Adventures and the story kind of built from there. The idea for the town of Pembleton, where The Society takes place, is also based on the town that my folks were living in when I moved back in with them. I always felt there was something a little off about that place like there was something kind of evil or wrong about it. That time waiting for school to start up really planted the seeds for a lot of what you’ll read in this series.“

“R2R: How did you come up with your characters?
Conquest of the Heart is set in 1067 and I wondered just what it would be like for a man who was not big and brawny to have to face these fierce warriors. So I based my hero on my husband who is thin, but wiry and tough, and who can stand up to anyone just by force of character.”

“R2R: Can you tell us a little about yourself?
Well, I’m a newbie Author, but a veteran writer. I’ve been creatively writing for my own pleasure since I was a teen. I am a native New Yorker, raised by a single mother in the small town of Gouverneur. No, not the big apple kind of New Yorker, but the country loving-tree hugging kind. We North Country folks are constantly compared to the city, and we love to point out that the city is a tiny speck on the border of New York State. I now live ten minutes from the Canadian Border in the city of Ogdensburg with my husband. I am married to a good man who supports me and my writing more than I could ask.”

“R2R: Open your book to a random page and tell us the first paragraph…
A black Andalusian, equally elegant and proud, shook his mane and stared at them. Kate could feel the heat rise in her cheeks as she looked at the horse and sheepishly smiled. “That one is trouble. Smart, cooperative when he wants to be, occasionally arrogant, and usually unpredictable.”
“And his name?”
She looked up at him tentatively, let out a quick breath, and answered. “Hunter. His name is Hunter.” The triumphant smile on his face nearly had her undone. “Don’t read too much into it; it doesn’t mean anything.”
(Sorry, I couldn’t share just one, it would have made no sense.).”

Here is an excerpt…
“R2R: How did you come up with your characters?
Mysti: My very first characters came about when I began writing little short stories based on some of the characters I’d created on a fantasy role-playing computer game. The first novelette set in Tallenmere, “Let There Be Love” and “A Ranger’s Tale” spawned from those, but then Jayden from ART just had to have his story told. I couldn’t leave the poor man like I did. And like I said, Sir Robert started telling me his story during the second book…they’re honestly just evolving as each book is written. I sense a “bigger” story surrounding one of my supporting characters, and go with it.”

“R2R: Can you tell us a little about yourself?
Of course! I’m a wife, mother, author, floral designer, and a born introvert who struggles every day to overcome my shyness. I was born in California, moved to Colorado, and now live in the beautiful Willamette Valley of Oregon with my husband. Oh, and both my children are going to colleges in the state so I get to see them quite often.
As an author I write paranormal/suspense, fantasy/adventure, m/m romance, and anything else that comes to mind. I like trying new things, though all my stuff has a touch of m/m sensuality in it.”

“R2R: Open your book to a random page and tell us the first paragraph…
“How did your daughter die, Jasper?” Sully asked, obviously remembering the other dream that I had constantly.
“Edrith slit her throat with a sword, Sully.”
I felt the bile rise in my own throat and pressed my hand to my mouth in an effort to stop it. Breathe, I told myself, just breathe. I squeezed my eyes tight and fought for control. I could feel a hand on my knee, and when I looked up, Jasper was kneeling on the floor in front of me, his gaze full of pain.”
