Random House Children’s Books Tour: How I thought up the concept of THE VAMPIRE TRILOGY – A Guest Post by Pete Johnson

Pete Johnson recently took the time out of his busy schedule to share with us the background to his Vampire Trilogy. We hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

Here is an excerpt:

“I never expected to be writing about vampires at all.

My original idea was to write a comedy-drama about the early years of becoming a teenager. So much happens and there are so many pressures. Yet, these are also the years when you start deciding who you really are, and try to forge your own identity. Fascinating material certainly.”

Many thanks to Pete for sharing this with us!

Special mention to Random House Children’s Books for setting this up for us too!
