“Rose didn’t disappoint when it came to her portrayal of strong females. That was one of the strongest points of this novel. When tragedy struck Oleanna’s family, I thought at first she was going to be weak and ruin the image I had of her character. But instead, her selflessness led her to complete her inner journey of self discovery by the novel’s ending. 3/5″
