Today with Bewitching Book Tours it is my pleasure to be joined by the wonderful Rosalie Lario. We also have a media kit for her amazing Demons of Infernum series which you can check out here: Blood Of The Demon, Mark Of The Sylph, Touch Of The Angel and Heart Of The Incubus!
Here is an extract:
“Formally trained as a corporate and real estate lawyer, Rosalie Lario practiced law for 5 years before finally admitting to herself that negotiating contracts wasn’t nearly as fun as dreaming up stories. As an avid reader of romances and supernatural stories, she knew she wanted to write paranormal romance. Tales of vampires, demons, and other supernatural beings ensued.”

Thank you to Rosalie for joining us!

We were informed of the great site The Book Monsters by a good friend of ours. We are glad she did. They are hosting a Pick Your A Thon, basically you can do reviews or reading. We are doing both!
Here is what their Kate had to say about the event:
“Kristen and I have been debating and debating… read-a-thon or review-a-thon? After much discussion, we decided: why can’t we have our cake and eat it too? I mean we both need to work on something: Kristen with reading. Me with reviewing. And what a better time than now to do it!
Date: December 28th to January 3rd
Goal: You pick! You can participate in a review-a-thon… a read-a-thon.. or BOTH, if you are feeling really adventurous.

Stella Deleuze recently took the time out of her busy schedule to write an amazing guest post about her series of books. We hope you enjoy the post and check out her books!
Here is an excerpt:
“Writing a book that is compelling, with likeable and real characters, as well as a good storyline is hard enough. When it comes to writing sequels, though, it’s even harder. If you have a series with the same characters, same tone, same or similar setting, we authors have the responsibility to make each book as exciting as the others. We also have to make them work as a stand-alone so that a reader unfamiliar with your series can grab any book and feel like he or she is reading a self-contained, complete novel. A massive challenge, which I had to learn over the past year.”

Many thanks to Stella for sharing this with us!

It is my pleasure to be joined by the wonderful Carolyn Moncel in the spotlight today.
Here is an extract:
“I’m a bit of “Jill of all trades.” During the day, I run two companies with offices in Chicago, Paris and Geneva: MotionTemps, LLC, a bilingual Digital Project and Web Content Management firm, and its subsidiary, Mondavé communications, a media relations training and now, publishing company. At night, I get to create a totally different world through my writing. Currently, we are a family of expatriates! We moved overseas from Chicago, my hometown in 2002 and for exactly five years, I got to be “An American in Paris.” When my husband accepted a job offer in Paris, I packed up my two daughters (ages 5 and 2 weeks at the time), my business, a dog and a cat and joined him! I’ve been living in Lausanne, Switzerland since 2007 with my family.”

We love a good Read-A-Thon at Read2Review and what better way to start the new year than to join our dear friend Michelle for this Read-A-Thon!!
Here is what she had to say about it…
“The *Winter’s Respite Read-a-Thon* is just a bit over a month away on January 23 through January 29! It will start at 12:00am Monday and end at 11:59pm on Sunday. Times are central standard time so adjust your times accordingly. I plan to host a mini-challenge (or two or more) and there will be a giveaway for every one who signs in at the starting line and completes a wrap up post at the end. Of course, like most read-a-thons, the books read must be novels or novellas, adult or young adult are fine, but no children’s books. You DO NOT have to participate the entire week. Join in when you can, start in the middle, end early…whatever works best for your schedule. As long as you sign in at the sign-in post and do some kind of wrap up post, you’re in for the giveaway. As with my previous read-a-thons, it will be a week of relaxed reading during which we can personally challenge ourselves and whittle away those ever looming TBR piles/shelves/libraries. I hope you will join me!
You do not have to have a blog to participate. You can sign-up, sign-in, and wrap-up…all from Facebook, Twitter, or Goodreads. You can also do updates from those locations, if you do not have a blog. Also, to chat or update during the read-a-thon on Twitter, use hashtag *#WintersRespite*
You do not have to do a post right now, unless you want to help get the word out. Just post a link to your blog (or to your post, if you decide to do one) in the Mr. Linky.
I’m putting the call out to anyone who would like to host a mini-challenge and/or giveaway. Authors, if you would like to sponsor a giveaway or donate a prize, please let me know. You can email me at any and all help will be greatly appreciated!
Here’s the link to the sign-up post“
We hope to see you all there!!
